Check Engine Light & Turn Off the MIL

FQA about OBD2 Scanner:
Q1: Will V519 scanner read ABS/ airbag codes?
A: Sorry, V519 OBDII scanner is able to read and clear check engine information which is part of OBDII system, but it cannot work on Non-OBDII systems(ABS/airbag/oil service light, ect.).
Q2: How to connect OBD2 scanner with vehicle and read/clear code?
A: 1. Turn off ignition, connect the code reader to the car.
2. Turn on ignition, the car scanner will automatically connect to your car.
3. Start engine, press F1 and it will automatically read the fault codes, then press the OK button to clear.
Q3: Why can’t V519 OBD2 scanner clear the fault code?
A: Usually, it’s caused by poor connection, or because the fault code appears again for not solving the problem. But if it is a persistent fault, after repairing the fault, drive for a period of time or perform a specific driving cycle to meet the clearing conditions.
Q4: Is this OBD2 scanner compatible with my vehicle?
A: It is compatible with most cars built after 1996 (US), 2001 (EU) and 2008 (Asia) that are equipped with an OBD2 port. Support All OBDII Protocols: CAN, J1850 PWM, J1850 VPW, ISO 9141 and KWP 2000(ISO 14230). But it is not compatible with new energy vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and models that do not comply with the OBD2 protocol.
